What is Cyber Liability Coverage?

Cyber Liability coverage is intended to cover consumers of technological products and services when either liability of property loss arise as a results of when a business engages in electronic activities, such as ecommerce or data collection on an internal network.
This type of policy would cover a business’ liability in regards to a data breach, such as one where customer’s personal data is stolen. The policy also covers liability arising from media content on websites, as well as property exposures from: business interruption, data loss, computer fraud, funds transfer loss, and cyber extortion.
